Betas, Take One

Beta hcg: 657
Progesterone: 52.4
at 15 DPO

This is good, right? I'm not sure what's considered good...I think what's more important is that the numbers double every two days? I just had my second draws today, so we'll be able to see if the numbers are doubling properly or not tomorrow. I got to speak to the nurse as well, and she said cramping is very normal in early pregnancy, so I am breathing much easier now. I just got really nervous about it, because it kept feeling like I was about to get my period. But thank you all for putting my mind at ease, that this is indeed normal.

After tomorrow, I'll hopefully be able to relax even more. Thank you all for your support. :) Forgive me for not being able to visit each of your blogs; I hadn't planned to blog at all while at home, but then there was a turn of events, which I couldn't wait for a whole month to post. :)

Beta looks good! So does progesterone! As for the doubling time, keep in mind its 2-3 days so don't panic if it doesn't double in 48 hours, it just might take 72. With Max, my beta went from 400 something to 600 something in 2 days, the nurse actually said she was so sorry. Then the next one was through the roof! (Was twins but one stopped growing about 8 weeks and Max came out just fine.)

So stay relaxed and enjoy this! When will they do an u/s?

Those are very good numbers. I believe my beta was around 600 at 17 dpo and I remember the nurse saying that was a great number. From what I could find, your progesterone numbers are right on, too.

Yay!!! I'm just glad you're keeping us updated.

That's great! It sounds like your numbers are good from what other people are saying, although I don't know myself. I'm so excited for you!! I'm glad you're keeping everyone updated :-)

I don't know anything but my beta numbers from my pregnancy. At 15dpo it was 303 and then on 17dpo it was 897 (but mine might be screwed up because there were two I don't know) but definitely your first was way higher than mine.

So so happy for you!

I think that is a Great number. So good, in fact, that I am hoping that you and I have much more in common very soon.
You can compare it to other numbers at www.betabase.info. I am sure that you know about this site, but just in case.

those numbers are really good. If it makes you feel better, I am prego too, but no one knows, so you can't post on my site yet. I will post after next weekend when we tell my inlaws. My sites shows that we are taking a break. So I have my u/s for the heartbeat on Tuesday. But I had been cramping a lot in the beginning. It has been a lot better this week but the first week was really bad. Keep my fingers crossed for beta #2!!
